The U.S. House of Representatives has published the text of three bills that will finance the national security interests of America and its allies in Israel, the Indo-Pacific region and Ukraine, UNN reports.
The draft law on assistance to Ukraine requires the US president to provide ATACMS missiles.
The draft law also provides, in particular:
- Allocation of $61 billion, including $23 billion to replenish the US arsenal;
- Assistance is planned to be provided on a credit basis;
- Assets of the Russian Federation are supposed to be confiscated to cover these costs;
- The United States should help Ukraine with its further strategy within 45 days.
Addendum
Recently US Speaker of the House Mike Johnson unveiled his plan to support allies, presenting four separate bills to help Ukraine, Israel, Taiwan, and other national security priorities.
Johnson unveiled his proposal during a closed-door GOP House conference after months of postponing any decisions on this politically charged topic.
