The second Mriya airplane is 70% ready. This was reported on the Kyiv TV channel by the commander of the An-225 Mriya and An-124 Ruslan transport aircraft, Dmytro Antonov, UNN reports.
According to him, the main parts of the aircraft were built 30 years ago. They are now in good condition, so only 30% of the work remains to be done.
As a reminder, Mriya was one of the first victims of Russian aggression. The occupiers destroyed the plane during the battle for Gostomel airport in Kyiv region on February 27, 2022, during the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine.
