The Pentagon is concerned about Russia's growing cooperation with Iran, the DPRK, and China. In particular, because of Russia's desire to purchase weapons and ammunition from these countries to support the war in Ukraine. When asked about the Pentagon's concerns about the expanding arms cooperation between North Korea and Russia and Iran and China's cooperation with Russia, Ryder replied: "We are again closely monitoring these relationships and are indeed concerned, particularly with respect to Russia seeking to purchase arms and munitions from these countries to support its war against Ukraine. So we will continue to monitor this closely."
