Over the past quarter, the number of suitable civil defense structures in Ukraine has increased by more than 1.2 thousand. Dnipropetrovs'k, Odesa and Kyiv regions are among the top three in terms of increasing the fund of protective structures. This was announced by Deputy Minister for Strategic Industries of Ukraine Tymur Tkachenko, UNN informs.
Currently, a total of 61,659 shelters can be used in Ukraine, with the number of suitable shelters increasing by 1201 over the last quarter

According to him, since the beginning of the year, the company has completed construction and renovation works at 279 sites worth UAH 338.6 million.
Among them:
- 10 new construction,
- 165 ongoing repairs,
- 74 major repairs,
- 5 reconstructions.
"Among the leaders in building up the fund of protective structures are Dnipropetrovska oblast (+302 facilities), Odesa (+242) and Kyiv (+79). Work is also underway to install modular shelters, the fund has been replenished with 25 such structures, and 53 more are planned," Tkachenko summarized.
