A meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has begun at the White House, UNN reports, citing AP.

The White House reports that the meeting began at 4:47 p.m. Kyiv time. It is a "closed meeting," meaning journalists are unlikely to see the leaders together in the Oval Office.
As The Guardian writes, the meeting is expected to be much friendlier than last year's, when Trump openly criticized Zelensky and said: "You don't have any cards up your sleeve." The administration and right-wing figures have recently shown a shift in attitude toward Ukraine, and Trump and Zelensky held a friendly meeting at the NATO summit earlier this month.
The Trump administration now appears to be providing Ukraine with more support than at any time during his second term. And Laura Loomer, a right-wing figure and Trump ally, met with Zelensky last week.
