New positions have been introduced in the military units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine - officers, sergeants and soldiers of social support, who help servicemen both with the registration of necessary documents, in particular UBD, and at all stages of treatment after injuries. This was announced on the air of the telethon by Dmytro Lazutkin, spokesman of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, reports UNN correspondent.

Details

Lazutkin noted that the support service is about humanity in the treatment of servicemen and about the relationship between the serviceman and the unit in which he serves.

For example, a wounded serviceman does not find himself alone, but immediately receives support from the support service staff, who help him both with documents and during all stages of treatment. It is no secret that people often find themselves in hospitals without their belongings, without documents, and without mobile phones, and representatives of the support service help at all stages

- he explained the work of this service.

Lazutkin added that those soldiers who are currently serving and performing combat missions can also count on the support of the service, including in the preparation of necessary documents and certificates.

This includes assistance with obtaining UBD, various certificates, and assistance to the families of servicemen in communicating with communities. The support service provides comprehensive information so that the serviceman knows what benefits and payments he can expect

- the spokesman emphasized.

The representative of the Ministry of Defense added that the support service also works with the families of those servicemen with whom contact has been lost. According to Lazutkin, in addition to assistance with documents and medical support, the service is able to provide other, "intangible support".

This is about the fact that a person is not left alone, that he feels the support of his brothers-in-arms from elementary medicines to various gifts and intangible things. If necessary, for example, the brigade chaplain can come and pray. This is one of the components

- said the spokesman.

He also added that the support services have many representatives from the same units who, for example, were injured and cannot perform combat missions due to their health, but have gone through all these stages themselves and know what problems a serviceman may face and, accordingly, are very sensitive to it. There are also civilians, including representatives of families who have lost defenders and understand the psychological component and what concerns certain documents.

Each regiment will have such a support service, which is already being implemented in many units, and the military should know about it and contact it

- Lazutkin summarized.

Let us remind you
