Situation at the front
Our main tasks remain to hold the defense lines and stabilize the situation in threatening directions. Thanks to the management decisions taken and the steadfastness of Ukrainian soldiers, this task has been partially accomplished, in particular, with regard to the Pokrovsk direction. At the same time, according to the Commander-in-Chief, "our troops, where possible, are using active defense tactics." "In some areas of the front, they are advancing, improving the tactical situation, restoring dozens of positions, and holding down significant enemy forces," Syrskyi said.

"We continue to destroy the enemy. Thus, since the beginning of March, the artillery of the Defense Forces has carried out about 100,000 fire missions, UAV operators - more than 81.7 thousand combat special missions, including 158 strikes with DeepStrike weapons," the Commander-in-Chief said.
Problem issues and their solutions
During the meeting, Syrskyi, as reported, heard reports on problematic issues - staffing units and restoring their combat capability, forming new army corps, logistics and repair of military equipment, etc. He defined tasks for April.
"I drew attention to the need to increase the number of drones on fiber optics, resistant to enemy electronic warfare. In addition, I defined the tasks for staffing combat brigades with personnel. I stressed the need to improve the quality of training, because the preservation of the lives of our soldiers depends on this direction," he said.
"We have modernized the combined arms training course and increased its duration to 1.5 months, introduced a mandatory adaptive period for newcomers in combat brigades, and this is giving positive results - this month we have recorded a decrease in losses compared to the previous ones. However, there is still work to be done. We should strive for the highest standards of training," Syrskyi stressed.
Separately, according to Syrskyi, he stressed the problems of development and "set the task to maximize the combat capabilities of brigades."
"Another important issue considered was the maintenance and preparation of weapons for operation in the spring-summer season, improving the protection of various types of military equipment from FPV drones, and maximizing the combat capabilities of equipment," he said.

Earlier, Syrskyi stated that since the beginning of 2025, the total losses of the enemy in automotive and special equipment amounted to almost 10 thousand units.
