Syrsky said that without mobilization, it would be impossible to create the necessary reserves and form brigades at a time when Russia is building up its ground forces.
"It is very important for us that all citizens of Ukraine fulfill their constitutional duty," he emphasized.
The Commander-in-Chief also called on Ukrainians living outside the country to join in. "I hope that after the victory they will be able to tell their children where they were. Where were you when all Ukrainian citizens were fighting in such fierce battles? This is the question," Syrsky said.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Poland sign a security agreement that provides for the formation and training of a new Ukrainian volunteer military unit called the "Ukrainian Legion.
This will allow Ukrainians living in Poland, Lithuania, and other EU countries to voluntarily join the defense of Ukraine.
