A resident of the Synelnykove district has been notified of suspicion regarding the torture of his 16-year-old pregnant partner (Part 1 of Article 127 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, the 24-year-old suspect, while living with the minor, systematically tortured her throughout April of this year based on jealousy, allegedly to force a confession of infidelity. He beat the woman, strangled her, forcibly held her in the apartment, preventing her from leaving, and hid the keys.
On one occasion, the man pressed the victim's hand against a heated gas burner.
In addition, the suspect monitored her phone calls and, using threats, forbade her from telling her relatives about what had happened.
Unable to endure the abuse any longer, the victim called the police while the man was away.
A preventive measure in the form of detention has been chosen for the suspect.
