14 Spaniards from the MV Hondius, where a hantavirus outbreak was detected, have been evacuated. Upon arrival in Madrid, they will be admitted to a military hospital.

14 Spaniards from the MV Hondius, where a hantavirus outbreak was detected, are currently boarding their flight to Madrid. This was reported by the country's Minister of Health, Mónica García, according to UNN, citing Sky News.

They were evacuated in small groups in UME 'bubble' buses, with disinfection and personal protective equipment at every stage of transportation 

– García said.

The group will be taken to the Gómez Ulla Military Hospital upon arrival in the Spanish capital.

Earlier, the Spanish Ministry of Health stated that all 14 individuals "underwent an epidemiological assessment" and are "asymptomatic."
