Enemy attacks and bad weather have left some residents in seven regions of Ukraine without electricity; power outage schedules for the population today are until 10 PM, the Ministry of Energy reported on Thursday, writes UNN.
Enemy attacks
As a result of hostilities and shelling of energy infrastructure facilities, some consumers in Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Odesa, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions temporarily remain without electricity supply.
Energy workers, as noted, are working in an intensified mode to restore electricity supply to all subscribers as soon as possible. Restoration work continues around the clock.
Bad weather
"Due to bad weather, consumers in the Kyiv region remain without electricity. Repair crews are working on restoration," the Ministry of Energy stated.
Schedules
"Today, from 07:00 to 22:00, hourly power outage schedules are applied in all regions of Ukraine for all categories of consumers. From 07:00 to 23:00 - power limitation schedules for industrial consumers," the Ministry of Energy noted.
According to Ukrenergo, electricity consumption shows an upward trend amid colder weather and cloudiness, and the need for economical energy consumption remains throughout the day. Ukrenergo urged not to turn on several powerful electrical appliances simultaneously from 6 PM to 10 PM.
