The SSU denied information that allegedly full-time employees of the state security agency helped ex-deputy of the Kyiv City Council Denys Komarnytskyi cross the state border, UNN reports.
Information that allegedly full-time employees of the SSU helped D. Komarnytskyi cross the state border is not true. Currently, the defendants in this case have been detained by the special service itself, and they have been notified of suspicion.
Regarding the detainees, the SSU explained that the relevant persons "were in the status of public freelance employees for less than 5 months (were not on the staff of the special service and did not receive financial support).
We emphasize separately: they were deprived of this status at the beginning of February, before the events that are being investigated in the criminal proceedings.
A set of investigative (search) and procedural actions aimed at establishing other persons involved in organizing the transfer of D. Komarnytskyi across the state border of Ukraine is currently being carried out in cooperation with NABU.

In total, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the SSU has exposed 215 schemes of illegal crossing of the state border and notified 1,869 persons involved in these schemes of suspicion, the state security agencies of Ukraine specify.

NABU declared the former deputy of the Kyiv City Council, Denys Komarnytskyi, wanted in the case of embezzlement of capital land. He and 9 other people are suspected of creating a criminal organization that illegally withdrew land plots.
