In Odesa, law enforcement officers prevented an attempted terrorist attack against a heat supply facility. A woman who worked for Russian special services and tried to blow up a truck with equipment was detained. This was reported by the Security Service of Ukraine, according to UNN.

According to the investigation, the suspect installed an improvised explosive device under a truck that was transporting critical equipment for the city's energy infrastructure.

According to the special service, the woman is a resident of Chernivtsi. She was recruited via Telegram, after which she arrived in Odesa, rented an apartment, and made explosives, which she stored in a metal container.
During searches, components for manufacturing an explosive device and other evidence of cooperation with the Russian Federation were seized from her.
The woman has been notified of suspicion of attempted terrorist act. She is in custody without the right to bail.
She faces up to 12 years in prison with confiscation of property.
The operation was carried out by SBU officers in Odesa region jointly with the National Police under the procedural guidance of the prosecutor's office.
