This year's Navy Day in Russia turned out to be even more shameful than expected: instead of a grand show and demonstration of strength, Russians got a sad imitation of a holiday behind closed doors - with Putin against the backdrop of a painted submarine. This is reported by the Center for Countering Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (CCD), reports UNN.

It is noted that residents of St. Petersburg were not happy about such a "holiday" either, as the arrival of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin in the city was accompanied by a total blocking of mobile internet and communications and the closure of streets.
"The 'festive' atmosphere was also appreciated by the sailors who wandered the empty Palace Square, surprised by the lack of spectators. Z-bloggers also did not hide their disappointment, calling the event a 'parade in a garage cooperative'"
They add that this event became the most striking marker of what the war has done to Russia.
"The Russian Navy, whose 'might' Russian propaganda has imposed on the world for decades, today is not even capable of safely passing through the Neva," the CCD summarizes.
