Russian forces attacked a civilian car with a drone in the Kherson region, injuring six people, including a child, the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office reported on Friday, according to UNN.

According to the investigation, on August 14 at approximately 09:00, Russian military forces attacked the village of Dariivka in the Kherson district with an unmanned aerial vehicle.
"As a result of the strike, six civilians, including a 16-year-old boy, sustained injuries of varying degrees of severity. At the time of the attack, the people were in a car," the prosecutor's office reported.
As stated by Kherson Regional Military Administration Head Oleksandr Prokudin, those hit by the enemy strike included a 16-year-old boy, a 57-year-old man, and four women aged 85, 76, 51, and 63. They suffered blast injuries and shrapnel wounds to the head, torso, and limbs. All the injured were taken to hospital. Doctors are currently examining them and providing the necessary medical assistance.
A pretrial investigation has been launched into the commission of a war crime (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the Kherson region police, over the past day, Russian forces shelled the right bank of the Kherson region with artillery, mortars, multiple rocket launchers, and tactical aircraft, and used UAVs of various types. Fourteen people were injured, and five apartment buildings, 15 private houses, two municipal enterprises, a museum, an educational institution, a store, a car, and warehouses were damaged. In particular, Russian forces carried out an airstrike with a guided bomb on the riverside part of Kherson's Central District.
