Air defense rings are expanding around Moscow. The Russian leadership cares more about its parade in Moscow than about the rest of Russia, which opens up additional opportunities for our long-range sanctions. This was reported by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy following a report by the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service, Oleh Ivashchenko, UNN reports.
Today, I gave specific tasks to the Foreign Intelligence Service regarding the Russian air defense system. We see that in recent weeks, air defense rings around Moscow have been further increased due to the large-scale relocation of air defense systems from Russian regions. This indicates that the Russian leadership is not preparing for a ceasefire, about which so many statements were made, and cares more about its parade in Moscow than about the rest of Russia. At the same time, we note that this opens up additional opportunities for our long-range sanctions. Our relevant priorities will be determined

The President noted that Ukraine has repeatedly proposed that Russia move toward real diplomacy and provide the necessary trust in the diplomatic process and conditions for achieving a result through a ceasefire.
Ukrainian proposals are on the table, and I am grateful to Ukraine's partners for supporting our diplomacy and their readiness to act in a reciprocal manner. Russia must take steps to end its war and achieve real peace. Peace is needed. Glory to Ukraine!
