Russia has added 347 citizens of Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia to its "stop list", including ministers, members of parliament, public figures and journalists. This is stated on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, UNN reports .

Details

According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, the reason for the entry restrictions was "active lobbying by Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia for sanctions against the country, interference in Russia's internal affairs, persecution of the Russian-speaking population, a barbaric campaign of mass demolition of monuments to Soviet liberators, rewriting history and glorification of Nazism.

The Russian Foreign Ministry's "stop list" includes the Prime Ministers of Estonia and Latvia, Kāja Kallas and Eikēka Silinia, the Foreign Ministers of Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia, Krišjānis Karinš, Gabrielis Landsbergis and Margus Čahkna, former Latvian Presidents Vaira Vike-Freiberga and Egils Levits, and former Estonian President Kersti Kaljulaid.

Recall

On March 12, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned Swiss Ambassador Christina Marti Lang and announced a demarche in connection with the decision of the country's parliament to confiscate Russian assets.
