Delaware Democratic Representative Sarah McBride asked Rubio if he shares Trump's belief that the U.S. needs to own lands within NATO in order to protect them.

"The President believes that it is much easier to protect territory when you control it, and control it completely," Rubio said. "We are obviously in negotiations with both Denmark and Greenland. They are currently ongoing on a monthly basis. I think we will have some pretty good news."
