Russia is manipulating the date of the ceasefire. This was stated by the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Andriy Kovalenko, reports UNN.

According to him, the Kremlin claims that the date of the ceasefire is March 18, "although the agreement may come into effect now."
Russia is trying to support its propaganda story about the "order to cease fire on energy infrastructure," which Putin allegedly gave after talking to Trump on March 18. Russia will also manipulate this further, trying to reduce the ceasefire period by at least a week, and in case of violations may not recognize them later
He recalled that there was an earlier proposal to cease fire altogether, "and Ukraine agreed, but Russia refuses."
