Catherine, Princess of Wales, will visit Italy next week on her first official overseas visit since her cancer treatment, the BBC reports, according to UNN.

Her solo trip to Reggio Emilia on May 13 and 14 will support her early childhood education campaign, where she will learn more about the city's unique approach to early years learning.
Her last overseas royal trip was to the US in December 2022, when she accompanied Prince William to Boston.
A Kensington Palace spokesperson said the Princess is "very much looking forward" to the visit.
Catherine will "see firsthand how the Reggio Emilia approach creates an environment where nature and loving human relationships combine to support children's development," the spokesperson added.
The Italian city is the birthplace of a child development philosophy that emphasizes personal relationships, learning through play, and following children's interests.
During her visit to the city, the Princess will meet with educators, parents, children, local representatives, and business leaders.
The two-day trip abroad marks another stage in Catherine's full return to royal duties.
Following treatment for an undisclosed form of cancer, she announced in January 2025 that she was in remission. However, Catherine has spoken about having good and bad days during her recovery from what she described as a "life-changing experience."
