Last night, the Israeli military conducted a massive air strike on military facilities in the Syrian province of Tartus. According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the IDF attack targeted warehouses with surface-to-surface missiles and ammunition.
The power of the shock was so great that it has been compared to an earthquake.

This was the largest strike on Tartus since Israeli operations in Syria began in 2012. The province is of strategic importance: it is home to the only Russian naval port on the Mediterranean, built in the Soviet era.
