Ukrainian Parviz Nasibov became the silver medalist of the 2024 Olympics in Greco-Roman wrestling. This was reported by UNN with reference to the NOC.
Details
In the final, Nasibov lost to his Iranian opponent with a score of 5-6. Thus, the Ukrainian wrestler took second place and received a silver medal.
It should be noted that this is the second Olympic medal for Nasibov - also won silver at Tokyo 2020.
On his way to the final, Nasibov defeated Serbian Mate Nemes, Kyrgyzstan's Amantur Ismailov, and Azerbaijani Khasrat Jafarov.
