Ukraine plans to launch a unified online platform for relatives of soldiers who went missing within a month, UNN reports citing the OP.

Iryna Vereshchuk, Deputy Head of the Presidential Office, chaired a meeting with the families of the soldiers who went missing.
Among the participants were representatives of the relevant ministries, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War, the Joint Center for the Coordination of the Search and Release of Illegally Deprived Persons as a Result of the Russian Armed Aggression under the SBU, the National Information Bureau, the International Committee of the Red Cross, and civil society.
During the meeting, they discussed the algorithms of interaction between the Coordination Headquarters and the Joint Center of the Security Service of Ukraine, mechanisms for searching for missing defenders, as well as conducting DNA testing and speeding up the receipt of the relevant conclusion.
The participants decided to submit to the Verkhovna Rada a draft law stipulating that criminal proceedings on the disappearance of defense lawyers, which investigators open at the request of their relatives, will be conducted at the place of residence of the family. The draft law will be prepared by the Ministry of Internal Affairs together with MPs.
"This will facilitate easier communication between relatives and investigators regarding examinations, certificates, etc. It is very important that this decision is developed as soon as possible, and the law itself is adopted without delay," emphasized Iryna Vereshchuk.
In addition, a unified online platform will be launched to concentrate information from all services in one place. It should be launched within a month.
A separate focus of the discussions is payments to the families of fallen soldiers. By the end of the year, amendments to Resolution No. 168 of February 28, 2022, will be adopted. They are needed to ensure that if a missing soldier is declared dead, the family does not lose the right to payments and has enough time to submit a relevant application.

Deputy Interior Minister Leonid Tymchenko said that the Unified Register of Persons Missing Under Special Circumstances currently contains data on about 15,000 military personnel.
