Oil prices fell following a statement by US President Donald Trump that he "canceled planned strikes and bombings against Iran for tonight," UNN reports, citing the Associated Press.

Brent futures fell by $3.37, or 3.6%, to $89.73 a barrel, while US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures fell by $3.20, or 3.6%, to $86.83 a barrel.
