In the city of Gukovo, Rostov region of the Russian Federation, a fire broke out at an oil depot following a nighttime drone attack. This conclusion was reached by an ASTRA OSINT analyst after analyzing video footage from the scene, UNN reports.

According to ASTRA, the fire occurred at an oil depot on Karl Marx Street. Video of the blaze was published by the Supernova+ monitoring channel, and geolocation confirmed the facility's location.
In the morning, the governor of the Rostov region reported that as a result of the attack, one person was killed and two others were injured.
Also, according to him, two fires broke out at commercial facilities and a diesel locomotive was damaged.
The oil depot has railway infrastructure
As ASTRA notes, official data on the capacity of the oil depot is unavailable in open sources. At the same time, Google satellite imagery from 2024 indicates that eight storage tanks for petroleum products are located on the facility's territory.
In addition, railway tracks are connected to the oil depot, which can be used for transporting fuel. Russian authorities have not officially confirmed the information regarding the strike specifically on the oil depot.
