This was reported by the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper, as reported by UNN.

He noted that the situation is under the control of all relevant services. Such processes are typical for hot weather and depend, in particular, on the direction and strength of the wind.

Currently, ecologists are monitoring the atmospheric air. As of now, the indicators do not indicate a critical deterioration in its quality.

Work to eliminate the burning of dry grass and reeds on irrigation fields has been ongoing since July 20. The area of smoldering is about 8 hectares. Rescuers from the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service in the Odesa region have deployed the necessary forces and resources. The elimination of the fire is complicated by the lack of access to the smoldering sites and the need to suspend work each time during air raid alerts

Until then, specialists recommend that people with respiratory diseases, allergies, the elderly, pregnant women, and families with young children, if possible, limit prolonged exposure to open air where the smell of smoke is felt, keep windows closed, and maintain adequate drinking regimen.
