Russia has sent a new head of the Russian Orthodox Church branch, Dmitry Gavrin, to the temporarily occupied Skadovsk, Kherson region. This was reported by the Center for National Resistance, according to UNN.

The occupiers have sent a new diocesan administrator of the Russian Church to the temporarily occupied Skadovsk. Dmitry Gavrin, a native of Kalinin Oblast, who previously served in Tver Oblast, will become the new head of the Russian Orthodox Church. His first task will be to check his subordinates for loyalty and report on the real state of affairs with religion in the seized region

The center emphasizes that in the Kremlin's paradigm, churches are one of the foundations of dictatorship and are intended to brainwash, identify disloyal people and help the Russian army.
