The former President of the United States said that they would do everything possible for her to win the election in November, UNN reports.

"Earlier this week, Michelle and I called our friend Kamala Harris. We told her that we think she would make a fantastic President of the United States and that she has our full support. At this critical time for our country, we will do everything we can to ensure that she wins in November. We hope you will join us," Barack Obama wrote in X.

Earlier, the media reported that former US President Barack Obama is expected to publicly express his support for Kamala Harris as a new presidential candidate.
Obama and Harris have reportedly spoken several times since President Joe Biden, a former vice president under Obama, dropped out of the race on Sunday. Obama commented on Biden's decision shortly afterward, but did not announce that he was endorsing Harris.
