According to the publication, it follows that "the Lipetsk Aviation Center, a structural unit of the Russian Armed Forces that retrains flight and engineering personnel of combat units, as well as develops and implements methods of combat use of aviation systems, was hit.
Russian sources, according to the Russian service of Radio Liberty, claim that all the planes at the airfield were allegedly "saved". "Eyewitness video shows repeated explosions and sounds of secondary detonation, possibly a strike on an ammunition depot," the publication points out.

Earlier, the regional office of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that a fire broke out at a military airfield near Lipetsk after a drone attack. "Fire at military airfield number three," the report said.
According to the Astra telegram channel, an ammunition depot at the airfield may have caught fire after the drone attack.
