The National Anti-Corruption Bureau has reported the distribution of phishing emails allegedly on its behalf, containing malicious links or attachments. This was reported by the NABU press service, according to UNN.
The distribution of phishing emails allegedly on behalf of NABU has been detected. Such messages contain malicious links/attachments and arrive from addresses similar to official NABU addresses,
NABU emphasized that they have no connection to such emails.
"This is an attempt to steal your data or infect your device. Official electronic correspondence is carried out exclusively from the @nabu.gov.ua domain (not @nabu.org.ua, @enabu.gov.ua, etc.)," the message notes.
Separately, the Bureau addressed owners of @ukr.net mailboxes — they may receive emails from addresses that completely copy official NABU addresses, including the domain.
NABU recommends:
- do not open attachments/links from suspicious emails;
- do not share passwords, confirmation codes, or personal data;
- always verify the sender's actual address;
- in case of doubt, contact NABU at: 0 800 213 200.
