The police of the Kharkiv region emphasize that due to constant hostile shelling from 38 settlements in Bohodukhiv, Izium, Chuhuiv and Kupiansk districts, a mandatory evacuation of children with their parents or other legal representatives was launched in July.
According to Artemiy Konovalov, Head of the Juvenile Prevention Department of the Preventive Activities Department of the Kharkiv Regional Police, as of August 8, 149 children have been evacuated, and 42 more need to be evacuated. In total, since the beginning of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation, more than 500 children have been forcibly evacuated from the border of the Kharkiv region to safe places.
