Ukrainians have already used the online service of filing a marriage application through the Diia portal more than 30 thousand times, said Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation, Education, Science and Technology Development - Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov, announcing the launch of the possibility of online marriage via video link in Diia, UNN reports.
Previously, newlyweds had a long-distance race: they had to go to the registry office to file an application, choose the date and format of the ceremony, and then pay the state fee. A year and a half ago, the Diia portal launched an option to apply for marriage online, and more than 30,000 couples have already used the service.
