Star forward of "Inter Miami" and the Argentine national team Lionel Messi has acquired the Spanish football club "Cornellà". This was reported by the club's official website, writes UNN.

According to the press service, the Argentine became the owner of 100% of the club's shares. The details of the deal are not disclosed.
Currently, "Cornellà" plays in the Tercera Federación – the fifth strongest division of the Spanish championship. The club is based in Catalonia.
Famous footballers have passed through the club's system at various times, including Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya, Barcelona defender Gerard Martín, Keita Baldé, and Jordi Alba – Messi's former teammate at Barcelona and Inter Miami.
