The last two residents were evacuated from Makiivka. A new subject with mandatory military training for students will be introduced in the occupied territories on September 1.

In Luhansk region, two people were evacuated from Makiivka, leaving no residents in the village. On September 1, a new subject will be introduced in all schools in the territories occupied by Russia, which provides for mandatory five-day military training for schoolchildren, the Luhansk Regional Military Administration said on Friday, UNN reports.

Details

"Until recently, three local residents remained in Makiivka. One man was helped to leave last Sunday. Now we managed to evacuate the last two. They are a 70-year-old woman and a 67-year-old man. They are already in Kharkiv region with their relatives," Artem Lysogor, head of the Luhansk regional military administration, informed . "We managed to save their lives, but they stayed in Makiivka until the last moment - in a settlement that the Russians have already destroyed by 99%. Today, there is not a single resident left there. The fighting is going on right next door. That's why we insist on evacuating other villages every day as long as it is relatively safe.

According to the RMA, the occupiers attacked Nevske near the frontline with cannon and rocket artillery and used about 60 drones.

"We have disappointing results - two houses were completely burned down, as well as outbuildings near another one. Enemy shelling does not stop there," noted Lysohor.

The Russians reportedly attacked near Stelmakhivka, Makiivka, Nevske, and in the Serebryansky forest.

In the occupied territories, according to the RMA, miners from occupied Dovzhansk have not seen money since March. "At first they were scared of forced mobilization, then they were motivated by the appearance of Russian investors. Now they promise to pay with the funds from the sale of inventory that is still available at the coal mining enterprises," the statement said.

"Starting September 1, all schools in the territories occupied by Russia will introduce a new subject - "Fundamentals of security and defense of the homeland". It will be taught in grades 8 and 10. Teachers will be trained by the center for military sports training and patriotic education of youth "Warrior". A feature of the curriculum is mandatory five-day military training for schoolchildren," the RMA also said.
