Fog is expected in the capital on Sunday, November 10. Motorists and pedestrians have been warned about the danger on the road and given advice. This was reported by the Kyiv patrol police, UNN reports.
At night and in the morning of November 10, fog is expected in the western, northern and central regions with visibility of 200 to 500 meters. The hazard level is yellow,
The Kyiv Patrol Police gave advice on how to behave on the road in foggy weather.
For drivers:
- Avoid risky maneuvers and slow down;
- Be especially careful when approaching pedestrian crossings or children's facilities;
- Keep a safe distance from other vehicles;
- Switch on the fog lights together with the low beams;
- When stopping, activate the alarm.
For pedestrians:
- Be careful and cross the road only in authorized places;
- In the dark, use reflective elements on your clothing to make yourself visible.
