During his visit to Italy, Ruslan Kravchenko, the head of the Kyiv RMA, met with the Vice President and representatives of the Tuscan Entrepreneurs Association. They were interested in the possibility of cooperation with entrepreneurs of Kyiv region within the framework of an online platform where representatives of business, companies and production of the two regions will interact, sell their services and products, UNN reports.
"We already have such a platform with our sister state of Washington in the United States. Now we are working on implementing the same tool with Tuscany. We agreed to hold an online meeting in an expanded format in two weeks to discuss the possible implementation of specific projects," Ruslan Kravchenko said.
Italian companies can invest in the development of infrastructure, manufacturing, energy, agriculture and other sectors, providing thousands of Kyiv residents with jobs. In addition, Italian investments will contribute to the development of export-oriented production, which will strengthen the position of Kyiv region in international markets.
The head of the Kyiv RMA also met with representatives of the agricultural sector of Tuscany.
During the meeting, they discussed the urgent needs of agricultural producers in the Kyiv region. One of them is that after the de-occupation of the region, some agricultural land remains mined, making it unsuitable for cultivation. In addition, a significant part of the machinery has been lost due to constant shelling.
Another challenge is the lack of labor. Therefore, the maximum transition to automation of work is becoming more relevant than ever for farmers in the near-shore region.
"Agricultural producers in the Kyiv region are interested in introducing new modern agricultural innovations that will increase yields while remaining environmentally and economically friendly. Farmers also need help in rebuilding logistics facilities. They also discussed the need for independent power supply . We are talking about biogas plants, solar power plants, and cogeneration units. I also invited Italian farmers to join the work within the online business platform," said the head of the CRMA.
