Israel's military is on "high alert" for a potential attack by Iran or Hezbollah in Lebanon, UNN reports citing the Times of Israel.
IDF spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari reiterates that there have been no changes to the emergency guidelines for civilians, even though reports claim that an Iranian attack on Israel is imminent.
He says the military is on "high alert" for a potential attack from Iran or Hezbollah in Lebanon.
"In recent days, we have been monitoring our enemies and developments in the Middle East, especially Hezbollah and Iran," Haghari said at a press conference.
He says that the Israeli Air Force has stepped up patrols over Lebanon "to detect and intercept threats.
"We take the statements of our enemies seriously and are therefore prepared at the highest level of readiness for defense and offense," Hagari said.
Hagari says that there are no changes in the instructions of the Home Front Command, and if there are, "we will update them immediately.
"We will inform (the public) as early as possible... but without giving our enemies an intelligence or operational advantage," he adds.
