Ukrainian athlete Iryna Gerashchenko won a bronze medal in the high jump competition at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. She managed to jump to a height of 1.95 meters, which allowed her to share third place with Australian Eleanor Patterson.
This result brought Ukraine another Olympic medal. In addition, another Ukrainian, Yaroslava Maguchikh, continues to compete for gold in the high jump, competing against Australian Nicola Olislagers.
