Ukraine, together with Norway, is working to strengthen the negotiating positions of our state in order to form future security guarantees. This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Andriy Sybiha, during a joint press conference with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Norway, Espen Barth Eide, and the Minister of Labor of Norway, Tonje Brenna, reports UNN.

"I am in constant contact with my friend Espen, the Minister of Foreign Affairs. On the eve of such meetings, such as the one in Belgium, or other international legal events, we exchanged views, and I really appreciate Norway's position and the advice I received from Minister Espen," Sybiha said.
According to the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, the main topic of talks with Norway is the development of a clear position on the way to achieving lasting peace in Ukraine. This especially concerns the security of the infrastructure of our state.
"Of course, there must be a firm position and support for achieving a just and far-reaching peace for Ukraine, because this is a global interest for Europe and for building a global security system. Of course, we need a security package for infrastructure and future guarantees for Ukraine," the Foreign Minister said.
In addition, according to Sybiha, Ukraine and Norway discussed issues related to strengthening Ukraine's negotiating positions. He added that in this context, it is important to take into account the historical and diplomatic experience of our country.
