In the Zaporizhzhia region, over 1,850 hectares of crops have been destroyed due to Russian shelling. This was reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, writes UNN.

It is noted that currently, the region is harvesting early grain and industrial crops on an area of over 120,000 hectares.
People are working under extremely difficult conditions, using every safe opportunity to carry out field work and preserve the harvest. But the war mercilessly hits the agricultural sector. According to Fedorov, some already sown fields are inaccessible due to constant attacks, the threat of repeated strikes, and fires caused by hits from enemy munitions.
The official added that since the beginning of the year, farmers have lost over 250 units of agricultural machinery due to Russian strikes. Guided aerial bombs and drones have destroyed 55 grain storage facilities and other agricultural infrastructure objects.
But even in such conditions, Zaporizhzhia farmers do not give up. The agricultural sector was and remains one of the foundations of the Zaporizhzhia region
