For the third day, law enforcement officers in Dubrovytsia are searching for a missing 5-year-old boy. His two-year-old brother from the village of Kolky was found without signs of life in the local Horyn River an hour after the family reported to the police.
According to the grandmother, who has been raising the children since January, the boys asked to go to the river, where a swing wheel is set up. However, the woman did not let her grandchildren go, so after some time they left the farm on their own
It was also reported that almost 200 people, including police, rescuers, fighters of the "Khyzhak" unit, border guards, divers, and local residents, are involved in the search daily.
During the search, 480 yards were checked. From the place of disappearance on the bank of the Horyn River, a distance of approximately 22 km was checked. About 500 thousand square meters of the coastal line and the territory of five settlements adjacent to the Horyn River bed were inspected. Divers and rescuers, with the help of an underwater drone, have currently examined up to four kilometers of the bottom of the Horyn River
