The protesters, in particular, demanded the replacement of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, as he "is an obstacle to reaching an agreement" on the release of the hostages.
The TV channel notes that the protests have been going on for three days in a row, and relatives of the hostages have held rallies before. During the last march, some protesters were carrying torches, some of them went to Netanyahu's house, and riots and clashes with police broke out in the area. Law enforcement officers detained at least five protesters.

They added that one of the law enforcement officers was wounded in the arm during these events.
The Times of Israel notes that the protesters were walking from the Knesset (parliament) and split up in the area where Netanyahu's residence is located to get to it. Police tried to erect barricades.
