The Hungarian opposition party Tisza has every chance of winning two-thirds of the votes in parliament in Sunday's elections in Hungary, which would allow it to amend the constitution and key laws necessary to unblock EU funds, according to a forecast by the Median sociological agency conducted on Wednesday, UNN reports with reference to Reuters.

Veteran nationalist movement leader, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, and his Fidesz party face the most serious challenge to their rule in 16 years, as the center-right Tisza party led by Péter Magyar leads in independent polls.
According to an estimate based on an analysis of five recent public opinion polls conducted by Median in late February and March, Tisza will win between 138 and 142 seats in the 199-member parliament.
Fidesz is projected to win between 49 and 55 seats, while the far-right Mi Hazank (Our Homeland) party is expected to win between five and six seats.
In the Hungarian parliament, a party needs 133 seats to gain the supermajority required to amend the constitution and key laws.
Fidesz has held a two-thirds majority for most of its rule since 2010 and has used this right to approve a new constitution, as well as to pass and amend a number of crucial laws, including the electoral law.
The Median sociological agency, which has one of the highest accuracy rates for forecasts in Hungary, reported that its five polls involved 5,000 people and were conducted by three separate call centers.
The poll correctly predicted Orbán's convincing victory in the last elections four years ago, although it slightly overestimated opposition support.
While most polls show Tisza leading, Fidesz cites studies that still show Orbán's party on track for victory. Opponents of Fidesz argue that these polls were mostly conducted by institutions with financial or personal ties to the ruling party.
