And we also very much want the end of Russia's war against Ukraine. At least to take the first step – a ceasefire. I always said that this is where we should start. But we were told and given signals that no, you can only finally end the war – a ceasefire does not achieve anything. And I believe it does.
He noted that the example of the Middle East eloquently demonstrates that a ceasefire is possible.
America has enough strength for this. If they ensured a ceasefire in the Middle East, then they have enough strength to ensure a ceasefire in Russia's war against Ukraine. Especially since Ukraine supports this.
