Ukrainian gymnast Ilya Kovtun took 4th place in the individual all-around final at the Olympic Games in Paris, scoring 86.165 points. He lost only 0.2 points to the bronze medalist.

Gymnast Ilya Kovtun stopped one step away from a medal at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games and showed the fourth result. This was reported by the Ministry of Sports, UNN reports .

In the final of the individual all-around, Kovtun took fourth place with a score of 86.165 points.

The 20-year-old gymnast from Cherkasy was separated from the podium by only two tenths of a point, which he lost to the vice-champion of Tokyo 2020, Xiao Zhen of China (86.364).

“Zhang Boheng, another Chinese gymnast, won silver (86.599), and Shinnosuke Oka from Japan became the Olympic champion (86.832).

Another representative of Ukraine in the final of the individual all-around, Oleg Verniaiev, finished in 8th place (84.399 points).
