The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has issued a separate resolution setting the start of the new school year in general secondary schools for September 2 and the end of June 30, 2025. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during a government meeting, UNN reports.

According to him, regional administrations have been instructed to ensure the organization of the process depending on the security situation in a particular territory.

Mayor Andriy Sadovyi reported that children in Lviv will sit at their desks earlier after the holidays. The city's winterization headquarters decided to start the school year on August 19.
