There were 149 combat engagements on the frontline yesterday, about a third of them took place in the Pokrovsk sector, where the enemy was most active near Novooleksandrivka, Zhelanne and Progress, and in the Kurakhove sector the occupants lost many tanks and other armored vehicles yesterday, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in a report as of 8 a.m. on July 30, UNN reports.

"Over the past day, 149 combat engagements were recorded," the General Staff reported.
According to the updated information, yesterday the enemy launched a missile attack on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas using one missile, as well as 62 air strikes using 99 combat aircraft. In addition, it made 4,588 attacks, 110 of which were from multiple launch rocket systems.
Yesterday, the aviation and missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces reportedly conducted 13 strikes on areas where enemy personnel were concentrated.

In the Kharkiv sector, five combat engagements took place in the vicinity of Hlyboke and Vovchansk.
The number of attacks in the Kupyansk sector increased to six over the last day. Defense forces repelled the aggressor's assault near Novoosynove, Pishchane and Stelmakhivka.
In the Lyman sector, the enemy attacked 13 times near Nevske, Makiivka, Terny and in the Serebryansky forest.
On the Siversky direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled nine assault attacks by Russian invaders near Ivanodaryivka, Verkhnekamianske, Pereyizne, Spirne and Vyymka.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the occupants attacked six times in the areas of Hryhorivka, Chasovyi Yar, Klishchiyivka, Kalynivka and Bohdanivka.
In the Toretsk sector, the enemy carried out 19 attacks near Druzhba, Pivnichne, Zalizne, Nyzhnyk and Toretsk.
In the Pokrovske sector, Ukrainian Defense Forces stopped 52 attacks over the last day. The enemy attacked in the vicinity of ten different localities. The most active attacks were near Novooleksandrivka, Zhelanne and Progress. It acted in the area with significant support from bombers and attack aircraft.
In the Kurakhove sector, our defenders repelled 21 assault attacks near Kostiantynivka, Paraskoviivka and Pobeda, where the enemy continues to try to break through the defense of our troops. The occupants lost a large number of tanks and other armored vehicles in the area yesterday.
In the Vremivsky sector, the enemy made nine attacks on our positions near Vodiane, Velyka Novosilka and Kostiantynivka.
In the Orikhiv sector, the occupants continue to try to drive Ukrainian units from their positions. Four Russian attacks were stalled in the area of Mala Tokmachka.
In the Prydniprovskyi sector, three Russian attacks were unsuccessful. The aggressor suffered losses.
No signs of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissia directions.
On the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the enemy maintains a military presence, shells settlements from the territory of the Russian Federation, and uses fpv drones for attacks.
"Ukrainian soldiers continue to actively inflict significant losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces, depleting the enemy's offensive potential along the entire combat line and in the rear," the General Staff emphasized.
