In the Rostov region of the Russian Federation, a fuel tank caught fire in the Matveyevo-Kurgan district as a result of a drone attack. Due to falling UAV debris, a fuel storage facility of a private enterprise that supplies the region's agricultural sector ignited. This was reported by the regional governor, Yuri Slyusar, according to UNN.

According to him, emergency services are still working to extinguish the fire at the facility. Residents of nearby private houses have been evacuated. According to preliminary data, there are no casualties.

Also, in the village of Matveyev Kurgan, a pharmacy, two shops, and a car were damaged as a result of the attack. The roofs of buildings, windows, and a gas pipeline sustained damage; the gas supply has been temporarily shut off.

Over 50 drones reportedly destroyed over the region

Russian authorities claim that over 50 drones were shot down over the Rostov region during the night. According to their data, nine districts of the region were targeted.
