The Swiss Pilatus PC-6 plane was carrying 10 paratroopers and one trainer, and the 40-year-old victim was the first to jump out of the plane.
According to experts, the pilot thought he had moved away from the parachutists' descent path, but a few seconds later he felt a strong jolt "and realized he had hit one of the parachutists".
It is noted that several factors may have contributed to the crash, including a lack of onboard briefing between the parachutists and the pilot, as well as the immediate steep descent of the aircraft, controlled by a pilot who had no visual contact with the parachutists in the wingsuit.
According to the report, the pilot, who was 58 years old at the time of the crash, was flying alone that day, in violation of a medical certificate that prohibited him from flying alone.
The Association of Skydiving Schools, which organized the event and employed the pilot at the time, told the Civil Aviation Safety Investigation and Analysis Bureau that they had amended their documentation and implemented the recommended measures.
