More than 160 billion hryvnias were received to the general fund of the state budget for payments controlled by the State Tax Service, which is 9.6% more than the plan and 48.7% more than in March 2024. This was announced by the head of the State Tax Service Ruslan Kravchenko and added that more than 1 million FPV drones of Ukrainian production can be purchased for this amount, UNN reports.
Details
Kravchenko cited the main indicators for March: revenue indicators were exceeded by 14 billion hryvnias. More than 160 billion hryvnias were received to the general fund of the state budget for payments controlled by the State Tax Service. This is 9.6% more than the plan and 48.7% more than in March 2024.
He also reported that personal income tax indicators exceeded by 11.3% (27.1 billion hryvnias), 23.5% VAT (26.1 billion hryvnias), 5.9% corporate income tax (86 billion hryvnias and 5.1% - excise tax on Ukrainian goods (10.1 billion hryvnias).
There is a positive trend in increasing revenues from excise tax on imported goods (+ 48.6% to the plan or 1.3 billion hryvnias more). Since the beginning of the year, we have been reimbursing significant amounts of VAT every month. In March - 13.8 billion hryvnias. This is 23.7% more than in March 2024. For the quarter, 30% more was reimbursed than in the 1st quarter of last year. We are reducing the number of suspended tax invoices. We already have an indicator of 0.37%. More than 11,000 enterprises have been removed from the list of risky ones since the beginning of the year. In general, for the first quarter of 2025, the tax service exceeded the indicators of the Ministry of Finance by 36 billion hryvnias. The total amount of revenues amounted to 315.1 billion hryvnias (+12.5% compared to the same period in 2024)
He cited the example that more than 1 million FPV drones of Ukrainian production can be purchased for this amount (based on the average cost of a drone of 30 thousand hryvnias).
Or a lot more that our state needs in today's difficult conditions. The amount of funds that additionally entered the budget in the first quarter means that the state demonstrates stable tax revenues, which strengthens confidence in it from donors, investors and partners. Important: such a significant result was achieved even despite the transfer of part of the revenues from 2025 to the previous period. In particular, in 2024, banking institutions paid almost 13 billion hryvnias of income tax in advance - these funds should have been received in March 2025 - emphasized Kravchenko.
Let us remind you
Earlier, Kravchenko reported that the State Tax Service exceeded the plan of budget revenues by 22 billion hryvnias in two months.
